Counting down to my first #LFDW

With less than two weeks to go, it is no surprise to everyone around me that i can't keep calm. I've been been very hyper active this past few days as i mentally count down to one of the biggest fashion events on the African continent.
This years' Lagos Fashion & Design week will be my first. And if you know anything about firsts; then i'm sure you're familiar with the phrase "You never forget your first time". Although now that i have just typed that, i think that phrase was meant for something else entirely *wink*
Designers, buyers, models, stylists, makeup artist, photographers, bloggers (like myself) and all the movers and shakers of the fashion industry will converge in Lagos - a metropolitan island that features an interesting mix of people and cultures - for the highly acclaimed sixth edition of the Lagos Fashion & design week
In previous years, i have had school to and work to thank for my not making it to the prestigious event and having an overwhelming sense of F.O.M.O. No more, this year is going to be hell-la different. Am most excited about meeting other fashion bloggers and building my network, plus i think it won't hurt if i'm discovered as a model *rolls eye and walks away slowly.* I am expectantly looking forward to all the fashion shows, if i can (and i will try my best to) am going to attend all of them, i can't wait to share with you all some of my best and worst collections, interview the designers behind them and get a response from the models who got the chance to wear them before anyone else. Another feature of the week that am looking forward to is the never ending stream of street-style and of course, the workshops.
